The oil and gas industry fuels the current world and will do so for years to come. Even in this era where humans look for renewable energy sources, the oil and gas industry provides products that are still not replaced.
This industry provides the most job opportunities in the upstream (drilling), midstream (transportation), and downstream (refining) areas.
IITNDT’s Oil and Gas offers expert knowledge and training on inspection and testing requirements in these areas.
Designed to understand the oil and gas production, transport, refining, and the
petrochemical industry,
this section of the course provides an overview of the main processes and equipment.
Learn to implement the relevant standards and understand industry requirements so that they can verify the condition of a rig’s equipment and improve safety, thus reducing the number of accidents and protecting the asset.
Understand the inspection and testing as per the requirements of API 1104 during new pipeline laying as well as during service. Learn about X-ray crawler operation, corrosion mapping, intelligent pigging, and so on.
Be conversant with code requirements for the fabrication of process piping, equipment, and tanks as per ASME B31.3, ASME BPVC Section VIII, API 650, as well as the in-service plant inspection requirements as per API 510, 570, and 653.
This section teaches you the NDT methods and inspection methodologies to fulfill requirements as given in API and ASME standards as well as molds you into a critical observer.
